Kurzbiografie

Paula Hannemann, 29, is Country Director Germany for Change.org. Change.org is a 20 million strong online platform empowering everyone, everywhere to launch, join, and win their own campaigns for social change.

Previously, Paula worked as Social Media and Online Campaigning Manager at the World Wide Fund for Nature – the largest environmental organisation worldwide. In her role as head of social media and online campaigning Paula designed the organisation‘s social media programme. WWF today is one of the leading German NGOs in terms of followers.

Before, Paula consulted various brands e.g. studiVZ, Nokia and tape.tv as a brand strategist. She taught as associate professor for strategy and innovation at the Institute for Marketing and Communications. Paula has a Masters in communication sciences and business administration (Berlin and Beijing). Also, Paula enjoys public speaking, mainly on the topics of social media strategy, online activism and social media crisis communication.
